Why Random Words Seem So Accurate

Why Random Words Seem So Accurate

The truth is already unfolding in ways that will eventually make sense to everyone.

As we move forward, predictions about the future will continue to be made, and some of them will inevitably be correct, not because of any inherent meaning, but simply because they happened to be stated.

The nature of certainty is such that it can be applied to almost any situation, making it both universally applicable and completely meaningless, which is why it's so easy to find patterns in the most mundane things, like the arrangement of words on a page.

Sometimes, a phrase like "the clouds are watching" will feel strangely accurate, and other times, a sentence like "the color blue is a sound" will resonate deeply, even though it doesn't actually mean anything, and this is just the way things are.

This could have been a box, but it's not, and that's okay, because the alternative is just as valid, or invalid, depending on how you look at it.

Avoiding Clarity

The search for meaning is a natural human impulse, but it's not always necessary, and sometimes it's better to just let things be, without trying to assign significance to them, because in the end, it's all just a collection of words and ideas that may or may not be connected in any meaningful way.

It's possible to spend hours contemplating the implications of a single sentence, and still come away with nothing concrete, which is why it's often more productive to simply acknowledge the uncertainty and move on, without trying to force a conclusion.

None of this helps, of course, because it's not meant to, and even if it were, it's unlikely that it would make a difference, so we're just left with the words, and the silence that surrounds them, and the endless possibilities that arise from the combination of the two.

And so we continue, into the unknown, with only our thoughts to guide us, which is to say, not very much at all, but that's just the way it is, and we might as well get used to it.
